ABOUT OVP HEALTH CARE

OVP HEALTH CARE was established as a non-profit healthcare organization in 2020 to provide comprehensive and affordable primary care and behavioral health care and services for patients.

Our goal is to develop and operate a network of high-quality healthcare centers in underserved communities, to deliver coordinated, patient-centered prevention and treatment services that include mental health, substance abuse disorder, medical, dental, and patient support services, regardless of a patient’s residency or ability to pay. 

We believe that all people have a right to access high-quality health care. And at OVP HEALTH CARE, we are committed to delivering that care and improving that access, while treating patients with kindness, compassion, and respect.

GOVERNANCE

OVP HEALTH CARE’s Board of Directors reflects the communities we serve.  We are a patient-governed nonprofit rural health care organization, which means that most of our Board members are OVP HEALTH CARE patients with a vested interest in ensuring the quality and affordability of the services we provide.  Our Board members all live or work within our service area. They have financial experience, have worked in the nonprofit world, are familiar with the healthcare industry, and are local business leaders.
